TradeFXBook is a trading journal that does the heavy lifting for you. It syncs your MT4/MT5 trades automatically, tracks your P&L, lets you journal and backtest, and uses AI to show you what you're doing right and wrong. It works for forex, stocks, crypto — anything you trade on MetaTrader.

How does the MT5 sync work?

You connect your MT4 or MT5 account using your investor password (read-only, so it can't touch your funds). Once connected, your trades sync in real time. Every new position, every close — it all shows up automatically in your journal. No manual entry needed.

What do the AI reports actually tell me?

The AI looks at your entire trade history and breaks it down — your win rate, profit factor, risk habits, emotional patterns, blind spots, and even revenge trading tendencies. It gives you a letter grade and a specific list of things to work on to get better.

How does backtesting work?

You pick a symbol, timeframe, and date range, then the chart replays candle by candle. You can open and close positions as if you were trading live, complete with stop loss and take profit. At the end, you get full stats on how your strategy performed.

Yes. We use bank-level encryption (AES-256) and read-only credentials to access your broker account. We can never place, modify, or close trades on your behalf. Your data is yours — we don't share it with anyone.

Is there a free plan?

Absolutely. The free plan gives you 15 trades per month with manual entry and basic analytics. If you want MT5 sync, AI reports, and full analytics, you'll need Pro. Backtesting, Traders Lounge, and advanced features come with Elite.

Can I share my performance?

Yes. You can generate share cards in different formats (story, post, landscape) and download them or share directly to social media. You can also share read-only access to your account so other traders can see your dashboard and stats.

What markets are supported?

Anything available on MT4 or MT5 — forex pairs, gold, silver, indices, crypto, and more. If your broker isn't on MetaTrader, you can still add trades manually with our trade entry form.

You retain ownership of the trading data and content you input into TradeFXBook. By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to process and store your data solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

TradeFXBook is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Trading involves substantial risk, and TradeFXBook does not provide financial advice or guarantee trading results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FortressFX Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or trading losses.

10. Settlement of Transactions and Fund Holds

Certain transactions made through specific payment methods, including but not limited to credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other third-party payment providers, may be subject to settlement periods imposed by the respective financial institutions or service providers.

Funds credited instantly to a trading account prior to final settlement of the underlying transaction are provided at the sole discretion of FortressFX Ltd. Any such instant credit facility does not constitute confirmation of final settlement.

Where trading activity, including profits generated through leveraged instruments, is conducted using funds that remain subject to settlement, FortressFX Ltd reserves the right to place a temporary hold on the deposited amount and/or any associated profits until the transaction has been fully cleared and irrevocably settled.

FortressFX Ltd further reserves the right to reverse credits, withhold withdrawals, or restrict account activity in cases where a transaction is declined, reversed, charged back, disputed, or otherwise not successfully settled.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law
